The DOLE Department Order No. 198, series of 2018 requires every construction project to have a suitable Construction Safety and Health Program, which is in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Law and other related issuances by the Department. CSHP is a set of detailed rules to cover the processes, practices and personnel responsible that shall be utilized in a specific construction project site. One of the important requirements for the approval of a property owner’s building permit is the Construction Safety and Health Program (CSHP) document guided by the implementing rules and regulations of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) along with the Memorandum of Agreement of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). The document ensures the protection and welfare of all employed construction workers and also the general public that is within or around the site of construction.
Note: PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT CSHP APPLICATIONS SHALL ONLY BE PROCESSED DURING WORKING DAYS (Monday - Friday From 8am to 5pm).
